what I still lack in
- understanding circuits especially with all the different components like regulators, transistors, etc,, I still think I’m not understanding how the electricity (voltage and current) is flowing and how to calculate them to get the right resistors, when to use capacitors, and not to blow up the arduino board and things like that. (I haven’t blow it up yet) Also I’m still not understanding how to use the multimeter.
- writing code from scratch. I still need help from AI to write it if I were to write my own script.
what I’m slowing getting more good at
- reading and understanding code.
- soldering.
what I would like to improve on
- understanding weekly labs faster,, it take sooo much more time than other people to understand labs.
- I would like to be able to write my own code. that means I understand the circuit fully, and the logic of coding, so that when I have the library that I can use I can easily manipulate to my own needs without making AI do it.
what I wish I can have outside of pcomp class
- fabrication skills
final
- the more in detail you can describe the interaction you have in mind, what the person/ system will do , the easier the process will be. put in a effort into figure this out.
- user’s action how it’s interacting with the thing
- can people understand what it is?
- playtest : prepare a prop so that people can see/feel your project is about. at lease minimal info.
-
- start a description of what we see and what we do
-
- start figuring out a build material
-
- diagramming? with he interaction in schematic form.
